Other club activities
West Heaton offers many other activities in addition to the main sports of Bowling, Tennis and Squash. We have an active gardening section, table tennis, bridge and even opportunities for golf.
As well as those listed here there may be one-off activities, please check facebook and club notice boards for details.
Beyond the bowling green you will see the peaceful garden area that hosts our very own Kitchen Garden. The garden grows a vast array of fruits and vegetables throughout the year, and is entirely maintained by a small group of volunteer members. The produce grown is available for club use e.g. tennis suppers and barbecues, and gardening group members share the produce in lieu of their work.
If you are interested in getting involved there is a Kitchen Garden WhatsApp group you can join by contacting Pete Goulding.
