West Heaton is a wonderful venue for parties, wakes and other events.
Both our function room and bowling green are available for hire/booking by members.
Current Bar Hours
Summertime (1st April to 30th September)
Monday to Friday: 7.30pm to 11.00pm
Saturday: Closed except for functions (see Social Calendar)
Sunday: 1.00pm to 6.00pm
Wintertime (1st Oct – 31st March)
Monday to Thursday: 8.00pm to 11.00pm
Friday: Closed except for special events
Saturday: Closed except for functions (see Social Calendar)
Sunday: 1.00pm to 6.00pm
Please note:
If there is nobody in the Club at 10.15pm on a weekday, or 5.15pm on a Sunday, the bar will close early.
Last orders will be called 15 minutes before official closing time, and all members must leave the premises no later than 15 minutes after closing time.
The bar also closes on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year
Venue Hire
Our kitchen, bar and cellar has a Food & Hygiene Rating of 5 (highest possible standard). Function room bookings must be supported by a member who will be present during the whole of the event. If are unable to secure a club member for this role, you can always ask about our low-cost Social membership.
Applications should be made in person during bar opening hours. Please bring a copy of the application form which you can download and print from the link below.
Please note - we do not accept bookings for 18th and 21st birthday parties.
The function room is an ideal venue to hire for your party or event. The room seats eighty, can be used in a variety of table layouts and has picturesque views over the bowling green and tennis courts.
Function Room Prices:

No charge for post-funeral receptions

£50 for parties, christenings etc

£100 for business seminars, award presentations, and wedding receptions
Note: A returnable deposit of £50 against any damages is also required.
