As West Heaton is run entirely by volunteers and it is currently National Volunteer Week, I would like to give a shout out, on behalf of all members, to all the people who give their time to make our club the fantastic place it is.
A big thank you if you are a member of one of our sectional committees, organise events, help serve us drinks, troubleshoot our booking system, pay the bills, keep the grounds and clubhouse looking fantastic, captain a team, keep us in the local press, sort out our membership, send out emails or carry out any of the many other tasks that go on, often behind the scenes.
You are all fantastic and much appreciated!
