Social Tennis
Social tennis takes place from 6.30 p.m. onwards on Wednesdays all year round and on Fridays during the Summer. Members mix together to play doubles in an informal and friendly atmosphere; players of all standards are welcome. Social players also often meet up to play on Saturday mornings.
Team Tennis
Matches in the North East Cheshire league take place between April and August. Currently we have five men's teams and two women's teams. All members are welcome to try out for a team. Matches are played as doubles and usually take place on weekday evenings. Three mixed teams also play in the Winter League from October to March.

Junior Members
The Club encourages juniors of all ages and standards. Junior teams are entered in local leagues. The Club also offers mini tennis for younger children to encourage them to play. There are also social events and tournaments for juniors. Junior members are represented on the Tennis Committee.
Coaching
Individual and group lessons for adults and juniors are available from the Club coach, who also organises fitness training sessions. A "Rusty Rackets" group session is available for members who want to learn to play or to resume playing after a long break.
Club Tournaments & Competitions
There are many tennis competitions throughout the year.The Club Championship is held in late summer/early autumn. Some tournaments are subject to handicaps. Social tennis tournaments are run throughout the year. Some tournaments are run as social events and may include food (barbeques in summer) and drink from the bar.
Social Events
The tennis section contributes to the Club's social calendar and organises a number of events throughout the year. The tennis Dance is held at the end of the annual Club Championship.
