Squash Section West Heaton has two squash courts, one which has a glass back, both having viewing areas. There is a booking system for both courts. The squash section is open to all standards and caters for social, team and also junior squash. The junior section currently have four boys who have been selected for special training at the National Squash Centre Academy based at Sportcity Eastlands Manchester.

Mini-Leagues
The leagues cater for a full range of ability, age and experience, from team players to beginners, juniors to veterans, ladies and men. Joining the leagues are an ideal way of meeting members and measuring your squash ability and standard.

Social Squash
Courts are reserved on Sunday evenings for Social Squash when everyone who attends has the chance to play against each other, enjoy their squash, and also to meet other members.

Team Squash
There are three men’s teams entered in the NW Counties League and one boys team entered in the Junior NW Counties League.

Tournaments
There are various tournaments, both social and competitive, throughout the season with the annual tournament which includes The Open, Ladies, under 18 and under 15 sections as well as Plate competitions.

Coaching
Coaching is available for members. On Sunday aftenoon/evenings there is group coaching and practice for Juniors and Team players.
